FILM FESTIVAL 2014
TABERNAS 10, 11 y 12 de Octubre
HIGH NOON Tapa - competition of Western tapas - from 01 to 13 October 
Each participating establishment will announce the Western tapas, which can be selected from its menu. After tasting, the tapa should be judged on a scale of 1 to 10 and the result deposited in the urn provided. The urns will be collected at 15:00h on October 13th, which is also the day of the 'open door' in Tabernas and the closing day of the festival. After counting, the results will be published on the web www.almeriawesternfilmfestival.es. On the evening of October 13th the prizes will be awarded at the event 'Nos vemos en 2015' (See you in 2015) with live music from LOS CANNONBAL.

ACTIVITIES IN THE WESTERN VILLAGES
The villages of Fort Bravo and Mini Hollywood will open their doors for their usual Western shows adding festival-related activities. On Saturday 11th entrance to Mini Hollywood will be free from 16:00h. On Sunday 12th entrance to Fort Bravo will be free from 16:00h.See program.
11/10/2014 Especial OASYS/MINI-HOLLYWOOD Lipdub : A musical video Lipdub will be filmed with those visitors who participate by synchronizing lips, gestures and movements with the music. The only condition is to come dressed as a cowboy/girl or Indian and be prepared with the text. Example of Lipdub. ¿What a Lipdub is ? / Example Lipdub The first 100 visitors to arrive in costume at 16:00h will be participating and at 16:00 is when organization and rehearsals for Lipdub will begin on time.

12/10/2014 SPECIAL DAY AT FORT BRAVO Western soundtracks interpreted by The Santa Cecilia Music Band of Sorbas (Almeria) (Entrance free from 16:00h)
The origins of the first music band of Sorbas date back to approximately 1836, making it the first band in the province of Almeria and possibly in the whole of Spain. The present Santa Cecilia Band was formed in 1982 and now comprises 80 musicians.
WESTERN EN DISCUSSION Teatro de Tabernas
After the screening of GOLD (20:00h) at about 21:45h. there will be held a Q&A about the filming and production of Westerns in North America with the director of the film, Thomas Arslan along with Javier Elorrieta (director/ producer) and Emilio Linder (actor).
Tabernas Theatre
After the screening of "ALGO MAS QUE MORIR" (12:00h) at about 13:50h there will be held a Q&A with the directors of the film José Luis Murga and Oier Martinez de Santos and the producer Pepe Jordano, producer (known for producing the prize-winning short film THE END) and the team of ALGO MAS QUE MORIR, from Kuartango, present for the world premiere of the film.
After the showing of SWEETWATER (16:00h) at about 17.30h there will be held a Q&A with the audience in the theatre with actor Eduardo Noriega. Admission as long as space allows (400seats).

The following directors, actors and creators of Short Films present at AWFF will be introduced: Senen Fernandez, director Sombra en Pie; Sylvain Dollez, Co-director Sentence; Karuna Yoganathan, actor Sentence; Laurence Burton, actor The Ballad of Billy the Kid; Pierre-Yves Hampartzoumian , director Buffalo Rising; Laurent Bertin, actor and co-producer Buffalo Rising (World Premiere);
WESTERN IN MUSICThe 2014 edition of AWFF is also a festival of Western music. There will be live music in a variety of locations, not to mention the Western InLine dancing and CanCan organized both in Tabernas and in Mini Hollywood.

FRIDAY 10/10/2014 From 24.00h – FIESTA WESTERN at Pub Levy, Tabernas Presents and "chupitos" free if you come as a cowboy/girl Live Country Music with THE YELLOW ROSE TRIO (FROM MINIHOLLYWOOD) The Pub Levy will be transformed into a night in the Wild West. Don't miss it! We'll be awaiting you in your cowboy/girl outfit. The party begins at midnight. Free Entrance
SATURDAY 11/10/2014 From 16:00h to 18:00h – – action in the Western Village. Lipdub - Parque Oasys – MiniHollywood. From 19:00h to 19:0h – Line dancing in classic western style in the Tabernas church square. Free participation accompanying the Carmen Plaza group who over the past months have given demonstrations of these classic Western dances, including during the Tabernas "Fiestas" in August. Fun for all ages! From 23:00h in the Saloon of the Oasys – MiniHollywood. SPINDRIFT LIVE : olo Concert with Kirkpatrick Thomas, member of the American group, SPINDRIFT known for their psychedelic rock music, western influenced, after the screening of the musical documentary SPINDRIFT, Ghost of the West (22:30)

SUNDAY 12/10/2014 From 16:00h to 17:00h at FORT BRAVO -Action in the Western Village. Western Music soundtracks by Ennio Morricone, interpreted by the Sorbas Municipal Band, Santa Cecilia. From 20,00H a 22,00H – Before and during the Closing and Award Ceremony we will have the CAN CAN Girls of Fort Bravo dancing and a great mix of FUNKY WESTERN MUSIC DJ Mix. Cervezas Far West will offer a beer tasting for guests and the public during the closing ceremony of the Festival. EXPOSICIONES TIERRA DE CINE 
From 7th to 26th October in Tabernas, Aula cultural - Escuela de cine (close to the Tourist office). Opening hours: 09:00h to 14:00h on Mondays and Fridays and 17:00h to 19:00h on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. And during the festival the exhibition is open 10, 11, 12, and 13 of October. MONDAY 13/10/2014 As Monday October 13th is a National Holiday we suggest some activities to get to know better the area of Tabernas and its connection with film.
Walk starts from the tourist office in Tabernas. at 10:00 and 12:00- including a visit at the Photo Exhibit Almería Tierra de Cine
Guided tour around Tabernas for its most emblematic buildings. Translation into English will be provided at 10h tour. FREE
